The Bull Run K9 Way
Welcome to Bull Run K9, where we believe in building better lives for dogs and their owners through effective and mindful off-leash dog training.
We teach real life. Not back flips, not perfection. We train dogs to live their best lives with their owners, and owners to live their best lives with their dogs.
Training Programs
Three programs, one standard: a dog you can take anywhere.
Flagship Program
A comprehensive 12-day board and train program for dogs 18 weeks and older. We focus on overall obedience, behavior modification, and advanced commands, helping your dog become a well-behaved, happy member of your family, both on and off leash.
Ages 10-14 Weeks
The right start for young puppies, and the on-ramp to camp. Many families begin here and continue into Board & Train as their puppy grows.
One on One
Personalized coaching in your home for dogs with prior training. Six sessions focused on obedience, leash work, and off-leash basics.
How We Train
Dogs thrive on clarity. Every program is built on the same six pillars, taught with consistency, patience, and real-world practice until the behavior holds anywhere.
Reliable commands your dog actually follows, the first time, every time.
Training that works at the park, the store, and the vet, not just the backyard.
Calm, self-assured dogs who can handle new places, people, and surprises.
Clear signals between you and your dog, so you both always know what is expected.
Consistent rules and routines that make good behavior your dog's default.
Training that deepens trust, so your dog works with you because they want to.

Top notch dog trainer. Casey is a master of his craft. We have a 18 month old Boston terrier that was becoming reactive and unpredictable. I knew that we needed help to deal with this issue. I scheduled a free consultation with Casey at Bull Run K9. Casey explained the training process. How it would help Remy build his confidence and help him know what was expected of him. We signed Remy up for the board and train. Casey sent us updates every evening showing us his progress. The transformation was awesome. Remy returned a calmer version of himself. He listens to commands. I can now walk him through the neighborhood without stressing who we will encounter. Thank you Casey, you are a life saver.
We can't say enough good things about Casey. He started working with our puppy when he was just over 3 months old. We began with Puppy U, where Casey taught us as much as he did our boy. Having the right tools and knowing how to be consistent in using them made such a huge difference. We went on to complete the full training program, and while our puppy still came home very much a puppy, he came home with a great foundation and we felt more confident knowing how to keep reinforcing everything Casey taught us. Casey is patient, kind, knowledgeable and really easy to work with. He is still available to us and continues to check in, answer our questions and made the whole process extremely easy. So happy we found Bull Run K9 - worth every penny and highly recommended anyone looking for a trainer. 5 stars all the way.
Highly Recommend Casey and Bull Run K-9. Our puppy French bulldog, Molly, was a new dog upon her return. Casey is extremely professional, and he truly loves what he does with the dogs. He went over every detail and answered every question with patience. He sends updates and pictures regularly. And Molly even got a report card at the end. I plan to use Bull Run K-9 in the future for training and boarding.

A steadier dog in busy moments. Practice for guests at the door, dogs on the trail, and everyday chaos.
Off-leash freedom, earned. Hikes, fields, and open spaces can become part of your life together.

Puppies 10 to 14 weeks start in Puppy University, which is free with Board & Train. For dogs 18 weeks and older, the 12-day Board & Train Camp is our flagship program and where most families land. Not sure? That is exactly what the free consultation is for.
Yes. Our camp and in-home programs include a remote collar, introduced carefully and humanely as a communication tool. It is about clarity at a distance, never punishment. We will show you exactly how it works.
That is the whole point of our follow-up structure. Camp includes two in-home follow-up lessons plus two future Anytime lessons, and we train you alongside your dog so the behavior transfers home and stays.
